Soldiers of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine staged a “black night” for Russian GRUs. During a large-scale operation, the enemy lost more than 120 special forces from one of the Russian military intelligence brigades.
The losses of the invaders alone, eliminated, amount to more than fifty Russians. This was reported by the commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Robert Brovdi (“Magyar”).
GRU special forces losses exceeded 120 people
The defenders carried out a large-scale operation to “denazify” the occupiers from the ranks of the Russian GRU on the night of December 26. The “birds of the SBS”, in the words of “Magyar”, “pecked at the special forces” of the 14th special forces brigade of the Russian GRU in the Donetsk region.
The enemy’s losses are truly impressive .
” More than 120 special forces of the 14th special forces brigade of the GRU of the Russian Federation were eliminated/dismembered as a result of an operation planned and carried out on the night of December 26 by the 1st SBS OC Birds in the settlement of Berdyansk in the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk region, according to confirmed operational information,” Brovdi noted.
There are two settlements called Berdyansk in the Donetsk Oblast, both in the southern part of the region, not far from Mariupol . The SBS commander did not specify in which one the Ukrainian drone operators organized the hunt for the Russian special forces.
The defenders conducted a reconnaissance and strike operation on the command post and locations of personnel of the aforementioned GRU brigade.
The following losses have been confirmed :
- eliminated – 51 invaders;
- wounded – 74 occupants.
Some of the invaders (their number, as follows from the “Magyar” report, can be measured in double digits) disappeared without a trace – with a high probability they joined the ranks of the occupiers who went to the “Kobzon concert”. The SBS commander hinted at this with the remark “very well done”.
Brovdy showed the spectacular stages of clearing the Ukrainian Donetsk region of Russian special forces on video.
He added that the 14th Brigade of the Russian GRU is based in Ussuriysk. Its main purpose is to conduct reconnaissance and special operations for the Russian intelligence service.
Earlier, OBOZ.UA reported that on December 26, explosions thundered near a military unit in Ussuriysk. The occupiers from its ranks “distinguished themselves” in the war against Ukraine. The delivery of food directly to the place of deployment was ensured by soldiers of the Main Intelligence Directorate.
