Syzran Refinery and a number of other enemy facilities were hit – General Staff

On the night of December 28, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Syzran Oil Refinery in the Samara Region. Attack UAVs were recorded hitting the plant’s territory, causing a fire.

Ukrainian troops also struck a number of other Russian military facilities, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported .

Attack details

According to the General Staff, the operation was carried out within the framework of reducing the military-economic potential of the Russian aggressor. After the arrival of the kamikaze drones, a severe fire broke out on the territory of the Syzran Oil Refinery. The extent of the damage caused is being clarified.

The annual processing volume of this enterprise is from 7 to 8.9 million tons of oil. It should be noted that the Syzran Oil Refinery is part of the energy rear of the Russian Federation and is involved in supplying the aggressor’s armed forces.

In addition, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully struck a storage and maintenance site for unmanned boats in the Chornomorske area (temporarily occupied territory of Ukrainian Crimea), a repair unit from the 1435th Motorized Rifle Regiment near the settlement of Antratsyt (TOT of Luhansk region), a pontoon crossing near Nikonorivka, and a storage facility for “Shahed” UAVs in Makiivka, Donetsk region.

The results of the recent attack on the LUKOIL-Volgogradnaftopererbka oil products processing plant in the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation have also been confirmed. An oil product pipeline and a lubricant production plant were damaged at the facility.

As OBOZ.UA reported, on the night of December 26, explosions erupted in the area of ​​the Lukoil oil refinery in Volgograd, Russia. The drone attack on the Volgograd region was confirmed by regional authorities, and a drone emergency regime was declared in the city and region.
