Russian dictator Vladimir Putin declared a “truce” on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Soviet-German war in order to protect the parade in Moscow from Ukrainian drones. This opinion was expressed by military expert, reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, former spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladislav Seleznyov on the air of “Kyiv24” .

Putin declares new “truce” in war with Ukraine
As UNIAN reported, today, April 28, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin declared a truce on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Soviet-German war. This was reported by Russian media with reference to the Kremlin.
It was noted that by Putin’s decision, based on humanitarian considerations, on the days of the 80th anniversary of the victory – from 00:00 on May 7-8 to 00:00 on May 10-11 – the Russian side declares a ceasefire. All hostilities are suspended for this period. The Kremlin believes that the Ukrainian side should join the ceasefire.
