On the night of Tuesday, September 15, Taganrog in the Rostov region of the russian Federation was under missile attack. This time, the target was initially the aircraft manufacturing enterprise “Taganrozh Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex named after G. M. Beriev”.
Military aircraft, including the A-50 and Tu-95MS, are being repaired and modernized there. This is reported by the Exilenova+ and Supernova+ publics.
A missile alert was declared in the city, as reported by the mayor of Taganrog, Svetlana Kambulova. Russian monitoring resources stated that there were “consequences on the ground”.

Previously, Ukraine had already attacked the Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex named after G. M. Beriev – the strikes took place in 2024 and at the end of 2025 .
What is known about the attacked factory?
The Beriev Plant is one of the key Russian enterprises that develops and repairs military aircraft. According to the official statement of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine , it carries out repairs and modernization of A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft and Tu-95MS strategic bombers.
According to the specialized publication Defense Express, the complex is also the developer of the promising A-100 “Premier” anti-aircraft missile and missile aircraft and produced the Be-200 amphibious aircraft based on the A-40 “Albatross” project, which exist in only a few copies.
The main test base of the enterprise is the Taganrog-Yuzhny airfield.
The Defense Express publication wrote that the Beriev plant was supposed to repair three Tu-95MS just 150 kilometers from the front line.
“Given the profile of the Beriev TANTK, it can be assumed that the contract provided for the modernization of these bombers to the level of the Tu-95MSM with the installation of external suspension units for Kh-101 cruise missiles. Whether this enterprise has proceeded to the practical implementation of this contract is currently unknown,” the article says.
There are also reports that the Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex named after G. M. Beriev was involved in the production chain of Molniya drones.
As OBOZ.UA reported, on September 12, the Ukrainian Defense Forces very effectively struck legitimate military targets in Taganrog, Rostov Oblast. The defenders “finished off” the last operating anti-aircraft missile system in the area. They also hit a fuel and ammunition depot at the local military airfield and enemy stocks of Molniya drones.
