On the night of September 15, the Volgograd region of Russia was attacked by drones. The explosions and fire that followed were recorded at the Sebryakovcement JSC near the city of Mikhailovka.
The attack on the enterprise became known after midnight. The Telegram channel Exilenova+ reports that a missile and drone threat had been declared in the settlement before that.
Photos and videos showed smoke rising from the area. Fire crews were dispatched to the facility.
Russian social media reported that there were allegedly dead and injured people at Sebryakovcement (this information needs to be clarified).
The Dnipro Osint channel is clarifying the location of the incident. Judging by the available footage, the explosion occurred near cement kiln No. 5.

We would like to add that the press service of JSC Sebryakovcement calls the plant “the largest enterprise for the production of building materials not only in the Volgograd region, but also in the country.” Sebryakovcement produces about 6% of all Russian cement.
