Memo to President Trump: 70% of Americans stand with Ukraine. We stand with independence, free markets and rule of law. We oppose a dictator who invades a neighbor. We stand with honor and right… and we oppose evil.

Congressman Don Bacon

Roman, what’s up with both J. Sachs and Mersheimer taking the pro-Russian position in Putin’s War against Ukraine. I agree with Jeffrey Sachs in his position regarding the US-Iran War. His anti-Zelenskyy views make no sense to me. He accused Zelenskyy and other Ukrainian leaders of having palatial mansions throughout Europe.

Bill Bucholtz

And yet the US Administration shows they bow to Putin…very confusing.

…………………..

The recent attack by russia on Kyiv was a plain act of terror and cultural genocide.

Russians hit architectural and cultural landmarks, including Chornobyl Museum, National Art Museum of Ukraine, Church of the Nativity of Christ, Kyiv Municipal Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, Kyiv Small Opera, Ukrainian House.

Russians also damaged universities, including American University Kyiv, Kyiv Mohyla Academy, Kyiv School of Economics.

There was ZERO military purpose, just terror, just genocide.

………………

Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement condemning the ceremonial reburial of Colonel of the Ukrainian People’s Army and Head of the OUN, Andriy Melnyk, and smeared his name.

In similar situations before, I wrote long posts comparing the biographies of Bandera and Shukhevych with Menachem Begin, the difficult and bloody path of Ukrainians and Jews toward establishing their states, and in doing so exposed the hypocrisy and blatant double standards in the accusations made by official Israel against figures of the Ukrainian national liberation struggle.

But the time for historical enlightenment is over.

Dear Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs,

Who Ukrainians rebury on Ukrainian soil, whom Ukraine grants state honors to, and whom Ukraine commemorates is none of your business. Your opinion on this matter is of no interest.

Focus on your own problems, including the sharp rise of anti-Israeli sentiment around the world in recent years. Which, by the way, was not something observed in Ukraine. But with statements like these, you are making a major contribution toward Ukraine eventually joining that broader trend.

And step down from the pedestal of moral superiority because you do not possess it. Your position, or rather the practical absence of one, regarding the bloody moscow aggression against Ukraine demonstrates this clearly.

And yes, Melnyk spent almost the entire war in the Nazi Sachsenhausen concentration camp, just like Bandera.

Honor to the Ukrainian soldiers of Jewish origin who are fighting and giving their lives for a free Ukraine against the moscow occupiers.

Would be more productive if they condemned indiscriminate killings of Ukrainian children and civilians. But to each its own I guess. 🇺🇦💪🏼

I completely support the position of my friend Artur Mikhno:

Our response to the brands that chose to help moscow kill us — and whose money helped fund today’s attack on Kyiv.

Question: How much did PepsiCo pay in taxes to russia during four years of war?

Answer: According to estimates by KSE and B4Ukraine, if you count not only corporate profit tax but all payments generated by PepsiCo’s operations in russia — VAT, payroll taxes, social contributions, customs duties, and other fees — then between 2022 and 2025 the company may have contributed approximately $1–2 billion to the russian budget.

To understand the scale:

  • PepsiCo’s profit tax payments alone in russia were estimated at around $100–240 million per year;
  • the company continued operating around 19 factories, employing tens of thousands of workers, and generating roughly $4.5 billion in revenue inside russia.

Arm Ukraine now. Save lives. World, thanks for support

The mobile app “Push to leave” reads bar codes and identifies if the business works in russia: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ua.ptl. Also, the web app https://leave-russia.org is very helpful. Avoid buying goods from unethical companies working with agressor is a small but very effective action that literally saves lives.

indeed… however the amount is minor compared to Schlumberger, Halliburton – check on their hypocrisy also, continuing “business as usual” in Russia allowing oil production to continue and havily aiding in the assasinations putrumpins’ make since not only 2022 but much earlier – 2008 Georgia ‘ … not to mention SLB having a long history in illegal operations despite international sanctions – Iran 2015 for example…

  1. As Mr Bacon points out, Krasnov is not only anti-Ukraine, he is anti-America and always has been.
At least since the 1980’s when he published his first pro-ruZZia rant.

  2. To the directors and shareholders of PepsiCo, Schlumberger and Halliburton :

    FUCK YOU!
    Assholes.
