The former Russian president appealed, among other things, to the United States.

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, former President Dmitry Medvedev responded with a threat to the statement of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that Kremlin officials should know where the nearest bomb shelter is.

In his statement, quoted by Russian media, the former president of the aggressor country said that “Russia may use weapons that a bomb shelter will not protect against.”

He added that “Americans should remember this.”

Zelensky reportedly told Axios that he has “clear support” from US President Donald Trump for strikes on Russian targets, including energy infrastructure and weapons-producing facilities. He also hinted that “centers of Russian power, such as the Kremlin, are important at the negotiating table.”Read also:

“They need to know where the bomb shelters are. They need it. If they don’t stop the war, they will need it anyway. They need to know that we in Ukraine will respond every day. If they attack us, we will respond to them,” Zelensky said.
