Massive Russian attack on Ukraine: French Mirages shot down Russian missiles for the first time

F-16 and Mirage-2000 multirole fighters helped air defense forces shoot down 34 Russian missiles and 100 drones that night. “The enemy’s air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Fighter aircraft were also involved, in particular F-16 and Mirage-2000 aircraft. It is worth noting that French fighters, which arrived in Ukraine only a month ago, took part in repelling an enemy air attack for the first time,” the report says.
