This is possible not only in Ukraine.
This is possible because of 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝.
But today, this is happening on our land. 🇺🇦

Her name is 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐯𝐚.
An actress of the Lesya Ukrainka National Drama Theater.

She changed the stage for the trench.
She changed costumes for a uniform.
She traded applause for the sound of artillery.

Maria graduated from the Kyiv National University of Theater, Cinema and Television.
She played leading roles in productions such as “The Master,” “The Jacaranda Blossom,” “Behind Closed Doors,” and “The Ladies’ Tailor.”
A brilliant, talented actress.

And yet — she left it all.
She left the life she had built.
She left the world of art she loved…
to defend our world, our home, our country.

As a psychologist and co-founder of the NGO Ukrainian Psychology Center THE SOUL, I have the honor of working with women who serve in Ukraine’s Armed Forces. I cannot speak about the nature of that work. But I can say this, from the depths of my heart:

𝐓𝐨 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 — 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮.
Thank you for your brave hearts.
Thank you for your courageous choice.
Thank you for leaving your careers in IT, communications, law, finance, management… and choosing instead to defend Ukraine.

We will never be able to repay you.
But know this: we are 𝐬𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮.
We pray for you. We stand with you.

Please, to everyone reading this:

Ukrainian women, men, children, doctors, teachers, musicians are dying in this brutal war russia started.

When you stand with Ukraine, you stand for peace.
When you support Ukraine, you protect life.
