French President Emmanuel Macron condemned the decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin to recognize the “DPR” and “LPR” groups .

He advocated the imposition of sanctions by the EU, and also called for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council.
Emmanuel Macron on Monday denounced Vladimir Putin’s decision to recognize the independence of pro-Russian breakaway regions in eastern Ukraine and called for “targeted European sanctions” against Moscow.
He also condemned Russia’s unilateral violation of international obligations and encroachment on Ukraine’s sovereignty.

What is the point of that?
This from the leaders that have parroted over and over that Vladolf was NOT planning an invasion. Despite more than 20 years of lying by Vladolf, they believed him. If anyone should be pissed it would be these deceived leaders.
Nothing will happen at the UN because Vladolf has a veto. The only possible outcome would be to put it on the record so Vladolf couldn’t say, “They didn’t even object to my fascism at the UN.”
Why doesn’t Macron for once in his life act like he’s got a set of balls, even if they are only the size of rice crispies, and set an example by sanctioning mafia land on his own? Better yet, sent some troops, or aircraft or ships to help Ukraine? Or maybe a massive shipment of arms?
No, typical spineless coward. Gotta blow hot air and hope that someone else will do the first step. Then, maybe, he will follow …. in a safe distance.
