Alexander Lukashenko, the self-proclaimed President of Belarus, stated that his country has sent about a third of its army to the Ukrainian border due to the presence of more than 120,000 Ukrainian soldiers there.

Details: Lukashenko believes that Ukrainian forces are near the border with Belarus because they expect that “Putin will again advance from the territory of Belarus.”
“In response, I was forced to transfer almost a third of the army additionally to strengthen what was there before,” claims Lukashenko.
He also stated that “removing our troops from the border with Ukraine would be tantamount to death. War is afoot,” he concluded.

The self-proclaimed president believes that “denazification has taken place” in Ukraine, since 70% of Ukrainians “hate Zelensky.”
I’m not sure what exactly the mustachioed potato wants to achieve with this move. A third, half, or even all the Belarusian army at the border is irrelevant. If Ukraine were to invade, his army would disappear like a wisp of fog in the morning sun. And he knows it.
Maybe it makes him feel a little important … just a wee bit.
