“Legitimate military objectives”: Putin threatened Europe with aggression

The Russian dictator gave another stand-up performance.

Russia is not going to attack European countries, but it is ready to raze them to the ground . This statement was made by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin during a visit to Kazakhstan.

In particular, Putin commented on recent statements by Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budris that NATO is capable of destroying Russian military facilities in Kaliningrad in the event of Russian aggression against Europe.

“They have the means to raze Russian bases. The Russian Federation has all the means to raze anyone who tries to do this,” he said.

The dictator also called the statements of European politicians that they are preparing for possible Russian aggression “delusional.”

“Russia has never had any aggressive intentions towards European countries. And the tragedy unfolding in Ukraine is their business, it is the result of their policy,” he said.

According to Putin, Russia was allegedly forced to “protect the Crimeans” and “provide assistance to the DPR and LPR.”

“When [we] became convinced that no one was going to implement the Minsk agreements, we were forced – forced! – to provide assistance to the two then unrecognized republics. To recognize them, and then to provide them with assistance by armed means, because in accordance with the interstate treaty, we undertook to respond to their requests for their protection,” the dictator said.
