Representatives Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie have been forced to ask a federal judge to step in and force Pam Bondi’s Department of Justice to start complying with the law. Specifically, the law is the Epstein Files Transparency Act that requires Bondi to release all available Epstein files, and she has already blown past multiple deadlines without a care in the world. The judge, and Congress, have the option to sanction Bondi in many ways over her failures, the question is whether or not they will use the tools at their disposal to hold her accountable. This law just covers unclassified documents and they should be pretty easy to release. I wonder what is holding them up except the fact there are a lot of them. Also, redacting the names should also be pretty easy. It also makes me wonder why the Biden admin didn’t do it years ago. Too many questions and politics, and not enough answers.

Maxwell’s criminal case was still OPEN during the Biden administration. She wasn’t convicted until late 2021, and then she appealed her conviction. Generally, it’s not a good idea to open your evidence files when a criminal case is ongoing. We also don’t know whether the FBI was *still* investigating other possible suspects who helped Epstein or participated in his crimes. If you are still targeting suspects, you don’t want them to know you are zeroing in on them.
And, as has been explained many times, Biden didn’t run a cult. He let the DOJ operate independently – unlike trumpkov, who demands loyalty oaths and treats every agency like his personal operatives.
But you guys have been barking for the release of the documents for a year or so.
I want them released. I want EVERYONE who is guilty put into prison.
Who is “you guys”? No Democrat ran on a platform promising to release the Epstein files. trumpkov did. Then blocked them.

Probably half the Congress is in the Epstein files and Trump is protecting them in exchange for absolute loyalty.
So then Biden was protecting them too?
Under Biden, the DOJ was independent. It’s only been a year, but it’s getting hard to remember when we had a functioning government…
Bondi is a criminal because she is aiding and abetting child rapists and traffickers. You can’t put it any other way. This country is practically a banana republic under Trump.
