Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov threatened Europe that a war with Russia, if it were to break out, would be “very short.” His statements were cited by Russian media.
He once again repeated his previous statements and those of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin that Russia allegedly has no intention of attacking Europe, saying, “We have no interest in doing so.”
However, as he noted, if Europe attacks Russia, then “it will be a completely different war.”
“If Europe, which talks daily about preparing for war against Russia, attacks the Russian Federation, it will be a completely different war, and it will be very short,” the Russian minister said.
He added that he hoped that “this warning will be heard in European capitals and in those structures that now represent a united Europe.”
