The air raid alert was issued after 2 a.m., and explosions immediately followed. The mayor of the capital, Vitaliy Klitschko, reported several fires in the Obolonsky district, as well as in a non-residential building in the Holosiivskyi district. As of 3:35 a.m., one person was reported injured.

Later, the State Emergency Service reported on the consequences of the attack.

According to rescuers, 2 people were injured as a result of Russian shelling, and fires and destruction are known in the Obolonsky and Holosiivskyi districts.

Thus, in the Obolonsky district, a large-scale fire broke out in one of the markets, injuring two people.

In another location, a building was slightly damaged by the blast wave. At another address, a non-residential building was hit.

The media writes that a book market is on fire in the Obolonskyi district, and they also report that the entrance to the Pochaina metro station was damaged. Spokesperson for the State Emergency Service Pavlo Petrov said that 2,000 square meters of the Gnizhkovo market in Kyiv is on fire, and the fire was localized.

A fire broke out in a non-residential building in the Holosiivskyi district. Rescuers have localized the fire.
