Soldiers from the 95th separate airborne assault Polesie brigade told details of the capture of a serviceman from North Korea.

The story of the defenders of Ukraine was published in the Telegram channel of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The foreign soldier was captured after the retreat of the Russian troops, who stormed the Ukrainian positions from morning until evening.

The UAV operator informed his comrades that there was movement in one of the trenches. At first they thought it was a Ukrainian fighter, since he had a green tube scarf on his head, but later they realized it was a North Korean soldier:

“He had a grenade and a knife on his armor. I showed him to throw it all away. And there was something red in the pouches. We thought maybe it was a homemade lighter. He takes it out, and it’s sausage. He shows that it’s food, and he won’t throw it away. Well, we left it for him.”

The occupation army soldier had wounds to his jaw and arm, but someone helped him. The prisoner was taken to the evacuation point and at the last moment he accelerated and hit his head with all his might on a concrete pole by the road. One of the defenders believes that he wanted to either hurt himself so as not to surrender, or to deceive the Ukrainian fighters:

“Later, our brothers-in-arms reported that he was well received. They helped him, gave him something to eat. He also asked that they turn on some love movies for him.”
