Ukrainian boxer from Kiev Wladimir Klitschko has joined the Kiev Territorial Defense Brigade.
This news was shared by his brother – the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko.
Klitschko Jr. registered at the first recruiting center for reservists in Kiev. Now there is a consulting work going on.
“I am motivated by love for my country, love for my city, love for my daughter, who goes to school nearby. This love motivates me to defend our country and our city,” Klitschko Jr. said.
He called on all those who are not indifferent to join the territorial defense forces.
Anyone can join the territorial defense by contacting the hotline of the Territorial Reserve of Kiev at the number: 063 651 44 46. Applicants are waiting for a short survey.
Then the candidates will be invited for an interview, a position will be determined and sent to undergo a military medical commission.
The reservists will be engaged in fire, medical and engineering training. The battalion leaders organized a flexible training schedule.
If a full-scale Russian attack can be avoided, the reservists will take part in a ten-day training camp every 1 or 2 years.
