Kellogg Reacts to Ukrainian Joke That He Works as an Air Defense

The US President’s special representative said that Ukrainians nicknamed him “the cat”.

The US Special Representative for Ukraine Keith Kellogg responded to a joke by Ukrainians that he was playing an air defense role in Ukraine. This became known from his post on the X network .

He noted that his name Keith sounds like the Ukrainian word for “cat,” and a cat is “a unique symbol for the Ukrainian people, a symbol of security and protection.”

“Because Keith sounds like ‘Kot’ in Ukrainian, Ukrainians have nicknamed my role as Kellogg’s special representative ‘Kot.’ When ‘Kot’ visits Ukraine, Russia pauses its attacks on civilians, giving them a few nights of peace. The peace that a strong America offers other countries,” Kellogg wrote.

He added a photo with the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, near the monument to the cat.
