Follow the money! ITV claims to be “independent”, but that may simply be a portmanteau for ‘infamously dependent on special interests’. The franchise consists of several licensees, so it first has to be established which company’s behind this and who actually pulls the strings there. The answer may explain how this obvious propaganda piece made it into the program.
For sure we know it’s propaganda, because the putinaZis would not let Langan onto their occupied territory unless it was to put out a putler puff piece.
ITV is a commercial organization with roots that go back to the 1950’s. It gets its income from ad revenue and selling productions such as The Crown and Downton Abbey overseas. Both shows are garbage in my view, but make big money.
There is no Russian trace in the shareholders as far as I can tell. But I recently learned that in the 1960’s and 70’s, it allowed the late unlamented putlerite tankie John Pilger to put out hundreds of “documentaries”; all propaganda aimed at the main countries he hates: the US and UK. Furthermore he got awards for his putrid lies.
It appears to me that Langan is their new Pilger.
There must therefore be some putler-rimmers embedded in the production department.
