Ukraine is now defeating Russia in the war. President Volodymyr Zelensky’s position
is stronger than previously thought. In addition, Ukraine is resisting a “cruel, oppressive, coercive dictatorship.”
This was stated by Congressman Adam Smith during a hearing in Congress. He noted that the United States is “rolling out the red carpet” for Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin and underestimating Ukraine’s position.
“Here we are, rolling out the red carpet for Vladimir Putin. We are belittling and insulting President Zelensky in the White House. He has no cards, right? Well, here we are a year later. It seems he had a few cards in his hands, because Ukraine is actually beating Russia,” he stressed.

Trump was also asked which he thought would end the war first, Iran or Ukraine. He replied that Ukraine had supposedly already “suffered defeat” on the battlefield, but mentioned “the destruction of 159 ships,” likely referring to Iran.
