Is Russia Targeting the Balkans to Start a War with NATO

May 7, 2025

As Russia’s invasion of Ukraine drags into a fourth brutal year, a new crisis may be unfolding in Europe. Security expert Ivana Stradner warns that the Kremlin could be fueling instability in the Balkans—threatening to open a second front and stretch NATO to its limits. Could Putin be preparing to trigger conflict in Southeast Europe to divide the West and shift momentum in Ukraine?

With multiple Balkan nations now NATO members, any escalation could spark direct military confrontation. This developing situation could mark the most dangerous shift in European security since the Cold War. In this video, we expose Russia’s strategy, its use of cyber warfare and disinformation in the Balkans, and why this could be a turning point in the global balance of power.

Dr. Ivana Stradner is a leading authority on Russian hybrid warfare, cyber influence, and psychological operations. A research fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and Kyiv Post Special Correspondent, she has briefed Western governments, testified before the European Parliament, and contributed to top publications including Foreign Affairs, Politico, and The Washington Post. Her work tracks how Moscow uses digital tools to destabilize democracies and weaponize global institutions.

  1. Dr Ivana is an astute analyst.
Soon we will see a putinaZi trace will emerge in the shit going on in Kashmir.
So of course they want to do the same in the Balkans.

  2. This is not going to help the war criminal any when his country collapses. Mafia land is already on the threshold. It’s actually already too late to turn things back. Friends and allies are irrelevant when things are falling to pieces all around you.
Having said that, I never thought that people could be so easily influenced, even with bold faced lies. Trump proved it, the war criminal proved it, and every other unethical creature proves it. What’s worse, gullible sheep or unethical beasts?
