In the eighth month of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Iran announced that it had not supplied the Russian Federation with kamikaze drones.

This statement was made by Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahyan in a telephone conversation with the EU’s chief foreign policy representative Josep Borrell, CNN reports .

According to the Iranian Foreign Minister, his country insists on “a position of neutrality regarding the war unleashed by Russia.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran has not provided and will not provide any weapons for use in the war in Ukraine. We believe that the arming of each side of the crisis will continue the war. We did not and do not consider war the right way either in Ukraine or in Afghanistan, Syria and Yemen,” the Foreign Minister said.

  1. Iran also denied blowing up a Ukrainian plane full of civilians. They have the label of a state sponsor of terrorism, because that is what they are.
