International partners will develop a project for the construction of a new embankment from the Varvarivsky Bridge to the Namiv microdistrict in Mykolaiv.

This was announced by the secretary of the Mykolaiv City Council, Dmytro Falko, during an  online session  on December 27, reports the  National Industrial Portal  with reference to NikVesty . 

In particular, he offered the deputies to include in the agenda the issue of approval of urban planning documentation: “Correction: detailed plan of the territory bounded by the streets: Lazurna, Kyivska, Generala Karpenko, Nikolska, Velyka Morska and the coastline of the South Bug River.”

He explained that by supporting this decision, Mykolaiv will receive the embankment project developed for free. In particular, it will be worked on by companies with which the city currently cooperates in the development of the General Plan. 

“We are currently cooperating with the One Works Architectural Bureau and the Danish engineering company Kovi on the development of the Master Plan. Within the framework of this cooperation, the following point pilot projects were also selected, which will be worked out in more detail by these designers. One of these projects is our, so to speak, new embankment. From Varvarivsky Most to Namiv microdistrict. If we have already prepared certain documentation, it will allow our designers to design this object.

If we don’t do this, we risk losing time. And as you understand, all this happens at the expense of the designer himself. They make the project with their own funds. I think that it is not worth giving up,” said Dmytro Falko.
