A large-scale fire broke out on the territory of the Russian factory “Zirka” in St. Petersburg. This plant produces engines for the Russian Navy, as well as generators and electrical substations.

According to rosZMI, the fire spread over 200 square meters. It is known that a two-story building on the territory next to the plant caught fire.

According to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the signal about the fire was received at 06:38 on December 13:

“As it was established, the fire in the two-story building covered an area of ​​200 square meters. By 7:05 a.m., the fire was assigned an additional rank of 1-BIS.”

The press service of the plant stated that there was no fire on their territory, but a building that was not directly related to the plant caught fire in the industrial zone.
