This year’s St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, while themed around a “multipolar” world, has seen Russia seek to show its technological and economic sovereignty after Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine cut it off from its onetime business partners in the West.

Interesting to see a backwards country where more than half of the population still uses outhouses, yet hosts an annual economic forum. I wonder how many attended if you don’t count 3rd world nations?
Those Taliban at that conference, that’s the future of Russia! With native Russians killed in huge numbers in Ukraine, the country will have to rely more and more on dubious migrants from impoverished islamic states. However, as a positive side effect, this will reduce enthusiasm about Putin among rightwing Europeans. Not any better than irresponsible leftwing politicians, that jerk. 🙄
