In the Kyiv region, a man was almost killed due to a religious conflict – after greeting “Christ is Risen”, the police informed the attackers of suspicion, UNN reports with reference to the Kyiv region police.

Law enforcement officers found out that on April 13, at night, a 35-year-old man entered one of the local establishments and greeted those present with the traditional Christian greeting “Christ is Risen”. One of the visitors, a 19-year-old man who professes a different faith, reacted aggressively to this.
Subsequently, the attacker called an acquaintance, who is also a representative of another religion, and offered him to resolve the conflict together. Soon, a 23-year-old friend arrived and handed him a knife.
Both suspects caught up with the victim, knocked him to the ground, and the younger one inflicted two stab wounds to the abdomen and neck. Convinced that such wounds would inevitably lead to the victim’s death, the suspects fled the scene.
Doctors promptly provided medical assistance to the victim and saved him.
Investigators informed both suspects of suspicion (Part 2 of Article 15, paragraphs 12, 14 of Part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Ukraine was in fact more than ready to join the EU in 2004, when these countries joined :

If Ukraine had joined then, it would not have been invaded in 2014, because there would have been no Yanukovich and no Euromaidan.
The real question is : who are the cuntz who blocked them in the buildup to 2004?
If Ukraine had joined then, they would now have the same or greater comparative wealth as those then very poor countries that now are doing moderately well to extremely well and there would have been no putinaZi invasion.
Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Montenegro are piss-poor? Ukraine is an economic powerhouse and doesn’t need the EU. The EU is afraid of Ukraine’s economic potential and doesn’t even want it as full member. That’s why Germany and France offered some EU lite to Ukraine. Ukraine doesn’t need the EU, not ruSSia, not Turkey and not even Zelensky. It needs Zaluzhny, a powerful military, investors, the rule of law, and Western standard of living. And Nato membership in the long run. IMHO.
Montenegro is desperate to be member in order to avoid another putinaZi coup.
The others are already fantastically wealthy.
Norway because of its vast energy reserves and Switzerland because of its profiteering from nazis and terror.
Now tell me what joinees of 2004 have not improved their wealth incredibly?
The most similar to Ukraine is Poland, which is now a top 20 GDP country that can afford to invest dramatically in its armed forces.
Ukraine’s only way to become economically successful is via EU membership.

Had corruption not been so rampant Ukraine could have developed and produced all the arms needed herself between 2014 and 2022. The US also helped Ukraine before Trump’s 2nd term and may resume after November.
