There was a sharp voltage drop on the lines supplying large Gorvodokanal pumping stations and boiler houses.
Russian occupation forces attacked one of the power facilities in Kryvyi Rih, resulting in equipment failure in some boiler rooms.
This was reported by the Chairman of the City Defense Council, Alexander Vilkul.
“Due to a missile strike on one of the energy facilities last night, there was a sharp voltage drop on the lines supplying major Gorvodokanal pumping stations and heating supply companies’ boiler houses, resulting in the shutdown and restart of these facilities. Large-scale hydraulic shocks also occurred,” he noted.
According to Vilkul, equipment at some boiler houses failed.

“This led to a drop in pressure at the Gorvodokanal. Residents on the upper floors could have felt it. The Gorvodokanal has already returned to normal operating conditions. The Ingulets district suffered the most damage in terms of heating, with equipment burning. Repair crews have been working since 2:00 a.m.,” noted the chairman of the City Defense Council.
He added that the last two large boiler houses have been launched using a temporary scheme.
“But for the people at Yuzhno-Kazakhstan Mining and Processing Plant and Ingulets, this effectively means only partial commissioning work in their homes—as would be the case with a full launch at the beginning of the season,” Vilkul said.
