On the night of June 7, explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Crimea. The Kerch Peninsula, in particular the settlement of Yedy-Kuyu, came under attack.
The Semikolodyazyansk oil depot, used by Russian occupation forces, was hit and a fire broke out there. This was reported by the Telegram channels Exilenova+ and “Krymsky veter”.
Oil depot attacked in occupied Crimea
At least two explosions in the Leninsky district of Crimea occurred around 02:05 – 02:09 a.m. “Krymsky veter”, citing a message from a subscriber, wrote about a possible attack on the peninsula using missiles or jet drones.
A minute later, the public reported a third explosion and a “probable arrival at the oil depot in Lenine,” after which local residents observed a glow from the fire in the area of this facility.
Exilenova+ confirmed the attack.
“Last night, the Semikolodyazyansk oil depot was attacked in the village of Lenine (Crimea). The NASA firms service also confirms a fire at the oil depot,” the message states.
Located in the village of Lenine (since 2023 – Edy-Kuyu), the Semikolodyazyanskaya oil depot is located in the center of the settlement. It has been operating since the times of the USSR, but in the 1990s the enterprise was closed.
In 2015, after the annexation of Crimea by Russia, the base resumed operations. Since then, it has been managed by the Russian company BK-Terminal.
As OBOZ.UA wrote, in recent weeks the fuel crisis in temporarily occupied Crimea has reached its peak. If previously gasoline was sold with coupons, now it has been completely banned from being sold for cash, and the occupation authorities are unsuccessfully trying to resolve the situation manually.
Russian tourists who are not interested in politics and came to the occupied peninsula to relax are now unable to return home because they have nothing to fuel their cars with.
And the occupiers themselves complain that even servicemen who are part of mobile fire groups to counter Ukrainian drones have begun to experience fuel shortages.
If Ukrainian drones can get to a target so close to putler’s bridge, mafia land must be desperately short of air defences.
And their operators are getting drunker than ever.
