In Akhtyrka, Sumy region, as a result of massive fire from Russian invaders, 70 soldiers were killed in a military unit. 

This was announced in Telegram by the chairman of the Sumy Regional State Administration Dmitry Zhivitsky.

“Yesterday, enemy artillery covered a military unit. They continue to get bodies out of the rubble. The State Emergency Service, volunteers are working. There are many dead. Now they are preparing places in the cemetery for 70 dead Ukrainian soldiers.

At the same time, Zhivitsky stressed that there were also heavy losses on the part of the enemy. 

“There were a lot of bodies of Russians in the city, we are collecting them. The Red Cross employees are taking them home,” the chairman of the Sumy Regional State Administration added.

He also published photographs of a military unit destroyed by the invaders, from under the rubble of which the bodies of soldiers are being pulled out.
