Earthquakes and volcanic eruptions in Russia

A few days ago, an earthquake with a magnitude of 8.8 occurred in Kamchatka, after which a tsunami threat was declared.

The last eruption there occurred around 1463. In Russia, the volcano was assigned an orange aviation hazard code, which means an increased threat to flights in this area.
