I don’t know how to cope with this pain and anger.

Parents grieving beside the body of their 15-year-old son killed today in Kryvyi Rih.

This evening, Russia targeted a residential area in Kryvyi Rih, a city in the central part of Ukraine, with ballistic missiles.

At least 16 civilians are dead, including five children… Over 50 wounded.

They struck a playground, so children’s bodies are just lying there. Horrible, heartbreaking images.

The news isn’t reporting much on this anymore, but attacks like these happen daily.

Ukraine continues to endure unimaginable pain, yet it feels the world has become numb to these atrocities…

Savages. Worse than ISIS. Also, apparently soon-to-be economic “friends” of the USA, per the new administration.

My heart brakes thinking about the children, killed, for no other purpose than a checkist monkey in the Kremlin. No empathy, no feelings – as Joe Biden once said – the checkist Pu*** is a killer, a vicious murderer without a conscience.

I don’t think it’s numbness unfortunately I think it’s apathy especially on student campuses, they don’t seem to care. I talk about it all the time and I seem to be the only one who talks about it. And even people, who should know better, are believing Russian propaganda about Zelenskyy.

Nina Pavlovna Chobu

I cannot imagine the pain to lose a child to ruzzia’s cruelty and unending terrorism! My deepest condolences to these parents and to so many more. It’s so heartbreaking. I am so deeply sorry. 😢💔 My heart goes out to you all every day. 🇺🇦 🙏🏼

Russia’s Strike on Zelenskyy’s Hometown Wasn’t About Strategy. It Was About Terror.

On April 5, a Russian ballistic missile struck a residential district in Kryvyi Rih, a city in central Ukraine. At least 19 people were killed. Nine of them were children. Over 50 others were injured. The missile landed near a children’s playground.

There was no military facility nearby. No base. No weapons depot. Just homes. Just families. Just kids…

Kryvyi Rih is the hometown of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy — a detail that adds a dark logic to the attack. The strike occurred while the President was holding a public briefing. A coincidence? Unlikely. This war has been shaped by symbolism as much as by force.

President Zelenskyy, visibly shaken, commented during a briefing that coincided with the attack:
“A Russian missile hit an ordinary city. Just a street. A residential area. Preliminary reports say it was a ballistic strike,” he said.

He continued: “This is the face of the Russians. It hasn’t changed since the beginning of this war. They hit a children’s playground.”

The strike wasn’t designed to shift the front line. It wasn’t a strategic military move. It was something else: psychological warfare.

It is a personal attack, a warped message to President Zelenskyy and to Ukraine sent in blood and fire. This isn’t new.

Online, Russian commentators celebrated. “Geraniums hit Kryvyi Rih,” some cynically wrote — referring to Russia’s loitering munitions.

There is a temptation, at times, to frame every strike as part of some broader military rationale. But not all violence in this war is about territory.

This strike was about sheer sadism, delivered with bureaucratic precision.

Russia is waging a war not only against Ukraine’s army, but against Ukraine’s sense of self…

The images from Kryvyi Rih speak for themselves. A crater beside a swing set. Children’s shoes in the rubble. Smoke rising where lives used to be.

There is only one just outcome:
Russia must fail.
Not only on the battlefield — but as an idea, as a system built on lies, violence, and fear.

Russia must fail.

Russia must fail as an idea.

Russia must fail as a worldview.

STAR COMMENT from Michael McVicker

Russia must be held fully responsible for all of its sickening war crimes. The thought that Russia should be rewarded with even one centimeter of Ukrainian land after the horrible things its army and soldiers have done is intolerable and offensive. There must be justice for Ukraine, for the many tens of thousands of Ukrainian victims who are dead because of Russia, and for those who, even if still alive, are traumatized and who will carry the mental scars of what was done to them and their families by Russia for the rest of their lives.

Reply from Olena Kozii

Thank you for these words Dear Michael McVicker . The reality is that most Russians are now living their best lives, while most Ukrainians are scarred and traumatized.

Tony Giraudo

It is time for NATO to follow Italy’s PM Meloni’s lead and physically move into Ukraine 🇺🇦 and push Russia out to the borders established by the Budapest agreement.

  1. The far left are indifferent to Ukraine, being far more concerned about propping up putler-owned Hamas.
The far right are also indifferent to Ukraine’s plight and no amount of evil atrocities will switch them from their hatred of Ukraine, which is matched only by their love of putler.
Yes I’m talking about you : Witless, VanZkov, Muskovy, Moscow Marge and Fucker Karlsonov.
    Bastards.

  2. “Russia’s Strike on Zelenskyy’s Hometown Wasn’t About Strategy. It Was About Terror.”

The entire existence of mafia land is based on terror. It supplies numerous terrorist organizations and governments across the globe with weapons and even training, in particular Africa, is engaging itself in terrorism, including Europe, and even terrorizes its own population. Not to mention the terror it’s causing in Ukraine.
This is the number one terrorist entity on this planet. Donald Trump gets along well with the blood-soaked vampire that runs this shithole. Just think about it!
