Hungary announces restoration of Druzhba oil pipeline and thanks russia

Hungary announced the resumption of the russian Druzhba oil pipeline and thanked russia. Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó announced this on his Facebook page.

“In the last few minutes, oil supplies to Hungary via the Druzhba pipeline have been restored. I have just thanked Russian Deputy Energy Minister Pavel Sorokin for the swift elimination of the consequences of the attack,” Szijjártó said.

Szijjártó also noted that he hopes that Ukraine will not carry out new attacks on the pipeline, which is critical for his country’s energy supply, and said that this war is not theirs and Hungary wants to stay out of it.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Unmanned Systems Forces confirmed that drones of the 14th regiment of the Unmanned Systems Forces attacked the Nikolskoye oil pumping station in the russian federation and stopped the operation of the russian Druzhba oil pipeline.

Meanwhile, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó accused Ukraine of stopping oil product supplies due to an alleged attack on the oil pipeline, which he wrote about in his X-account. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha advised Hungary to send all its complaints and threats to the aggressor country, russia.
