He prayed for Odessa’s air defense (and there were no strikes!): Trump’s pastor admitted he believed Russian propaganda, and now he’s praying for Ukraine.

Donald Trump’s pastor and advisor Mark Burns prayed for Ukrainian air defense systems and admitted that he had been a victim of Russian propaganda for several years.

He told a Dumskaya correspondent about this on the sidelines of the Black Sea Security Forum.

“Russian propaganda is very real. I’ve said many times before that I’m against supporting Ukraine because I believed this propaganda. I didn’t even think there was propaganda in America at all, but it is true.

And this is Russian propaganda, promoted by brutal dictators, among others. One such terrible lie is that Ukrainians are a godless society. That you don’t believe in God, don’t respect God, don’t go to church. You alienate people from churches. But this is absolutely not true. And I discovered this when I came here myself. I saw a Christian community, a Jewish one.

It’s sad when Russian Orthodox churches are used by the Kremlin to bless missiles and bombs that injure and kill small children. Just yesterday, two children and their mother were injured, and a man was killed in a park, just on the street, in Kherson. And so on. Christian communities, religious communities, are finally waking up to all this. This is why more and more Republicans are now supporting Ukraine.”

Now Burns is confident and convinces those around him that support for Ukraine is a logical continuation of the “America First” policy.

“If we don’t support Ukraine now, providing the weapons you need, providing the security guarantees you need, Russia will continue to fight.

And if they take Kyiv, they’ll take Moldova, then Poland, and then the Baltic states. They’re trying to restore the USSR. And then we’ll no longer have to pray for Ukraine, but rather invoke Article 5 for NATO. America will have to send our men. We don’t want that to happen. ‘America First’ means protecting American soldiers. Therefore, we need to make sure that the most powerful military in Europe—the Ukrainian army, which stopped the might of the Russian Empire—has everything it needs.”

The pastor prayed for Ukraine’s air defense forces, and incidentally, there were no attacks on the city today. Moreover, an enemy drone was shot down just minutes after his words. Burns also offered several compliments to Odessa.

“I love Odessa; it’s absolutely beautiful. Odessa and the Black Sea are a very powerful part of Europe. What happens here affects the entire region,” he noted.
DEATH TO THE RUSSIAN OCCUPIERS!

  1. He needs to pray a bit more. Odesa was bombed this afternoon. 4000 are left without power.

  2. When will the United States finally intervene as they did in Bosnia??? Double standards???

  3. It takes a man of integrity to admit his mistakes. My hat goes off to Pastor Burns.
