Ukrainian citizens should heed air alerts and take shelter.

According to available information, the Russian Federation is preparing to launch a combined massive strike on Ukraine tonight or the following night . Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in an interview with the Face The Nation program on CBS News .  

“Tonight or tomorrow night, in our opinion, we will have a major attack from the Russian side using drones, cruise missiles and ballistics. And we see the preparations. We always see the preparations,” Zelenskyy said. 

At the same time, he expressed gratitude to the United States and European partners for providing intelligence. 

“So, when we know that Russia is preparing for a major massive attack, certainly our partners know as well. Maybe not many details, but we know,” Zelensky said.

He added that Ukrainians should be very careful and take shelter. 

At the same time, as the head of state announced during his evening address to the nation, Ukrainian operational services are on alert due to Russia’s preparations for a new massive strike. 

“The Air Force and other sky defenders will work 24/7, as always. The topic of air defense, the need to continue to assist Ukraine with sky protection is our key priority,” the president added.  

He separately expressed gratitude to every partner, all leaders, all states who are ready to help and who are fully implementing the agreements.

“The PURL program must work – this applies to both the United States and Europe. We are accumulating funds from European partners and other friends of ours to buy missiles, in particular for Patriots, and sufficient supplies depend on America. We hope that Ukraine will be heard,” the president noted.
