As UNIAN correspondent reports, British Foreign Secretary David Lammy said this in Kyiv at a joint press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiga and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

“I am proud of Prime Minister Starmer’s commitment to the $3 billion in military aid each year that is needed in your fight,” Lammy said.

He also confirmed that Britain will allocate 600 million pounds of aid to Ukraine, including 242 million pounds for humanitarian, energy and stabilization needs, as well as for supporting reforms and reconstruction.

In addition, Lammy emphasized that Britain is now accelerating military supplies to Ukraine of air defense missiles, equipment for F-16 fighter jets, AS-90 self-propelled artillery systems, military boats, naval weapons and other assistance.

“We will also send additional air defense missiles, tens of thousands of additional artillery shells and more armored personnel carriers to Ukraine by the end of the year,” Lemmy stressed.
