President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that our state continues to work on the production of its own drones. The soldiers of the Defense Forces have “good results” in using Ukrainian UAVs.

This protects the settlements of our country from enemy shelling. The president said this in an address to Ukrainians and the world at the end of the 1,131st day of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.

Zelensky noted that there is also a decision regarding investments by Western partners in the Ukrainian drone production industry. 

“There are new decisions regarding investments in our defense industry, in particular, in the production of Ukrainian drones. And our soldiers have good results in using some types of drones to protect our cities,” the president said.

Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces Vadym Sukharevskiy recently noted that after the occupiers changed the altitude of the Shaheds, our defenders began shooting them down with FPV drones .

Thousands of mobile fire groups were quickly created and demonstrated high effectiveness. However, the occupiers adapted their tactics, improving drones and changing their altitudes and methods of use.

Earlier, the head of state said that Ukrainian gunsmiths will not only increase drone production, but will also focus on improving the capabilities of our UAVs to overcome electronic warfare and air defense. This requires additional contracts, funding, and investments. The country’s military-political leadership promises assistance to Ukrainian entrepreneurs in these matters.

As OBOZ.UA reported,  the Armed Forces of Ukraine have received the FPV drone “Witcher” . The main feature of this drone is its high speed, which allows it to effectively pursue and destroy enemy wheeled vehicles.
