The Federal Security Service has updated the rules for visiting the Moscow Kremlin. The corresponding document is posted on the official portal of legal information. 

The new rules, in particular, allow visitors to bring soft drinks (up to one liter) and foodstuffs in transparent containers (up to one kilogram) to the Kremlin.

In addition, now you can take walking backpacks with you to the Kremlin, the dimensions of which do not exceed 450 × 350 × 200 millimeters.

Previously, the entrance to the Kremlin with food and drinks was prohibited, they had to be left in a free storage room in the Alexander Garden. The maximum allowable size of bags and backpacks was 400 × 300 × 200 millimeters.

The rules for visiting the Kremlin have been changed for the first time since 2012. Before that, they were updated four times.
