We are working. Today at 3 pm Kiev, I had a conversation with the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken about the dynamics of the security situation and further steps to keep Russia on the diplomatic track.

At 10 am already attending the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the EU. It was a meaningful meeting with important agreements and statements of a number of countries that they will support Ukraine in particular matters.

At this meeting, I emphasized the problem of passportization in Donbas – it has not received a proper international response from the very beginning. At lunch, on the video from the meeting of Radbez Russia, we saw the severe consequences of what passportization succeeded. If you leave action without contradí ї, then the situation will only get worse.

Now not only Ukraine, but the whole world is carefully monitoring the actions of the Russian Federation regarding the recognition of the Ordlo. Everyone understands the consequences of such a step.

Understand that there are a lot of emotions and impulses right now, but right now everyone has to cold-blooded focus on the deescalation efforts. There is no other way.

Tomorrow in Washington I will be speaking to the Secretary of State and a number of American high-ranking officials about this.

Then I will go to New York, where I will have a speech at the UN General Assembly on the situation in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. We will also continue to work on the convening of consultations on the Budapest Memorandum and the implementation of the optimal format of negotiations proposed by President Zelensky: the summit of five permanent members of the United Nations + Ukraine, Germany and Turkey. Such a format is best for finding solutions for deescalation and forming specific security guarantees for Ukraine and strengthening European security architecture.

In parallel, extensive work is being carried out on the supply of new defensive weapons to Ukraine, strengthening our cybersecurity and economic stability.

Neutralʹnítʹ and pídbad statements of other countries and international organizations will not ensure peace. We are not in that phase anymore. A solution is needed. Some of them may seem difficult to partners, but you can’t solve a difficult situation without making difficult decisions.

The President of Ukraine and the whole Ukrainian diplomacy are focused on this. We insist that every minute we are looking for solutions to deescalation. Ukraine needs peace. Without crossing our red lines.

Finally, a human advice. In my book “War for Reality” I once proposed five rules of victory: 1. To lean on the reality. 2. To think critically. 3. To control your emotions. 4. To feel the community. 5. Interact with the state.

Use them and it will be easier for you to maintain your sanity under these circumstances. Everything is going to be fine.

    • So much is riding on tomorrow. Putin spent hours justifying his invasion today that I can’t believe he won’t follow through tomorrow on the anniversary of Yanukobych running home to Moskovia. This goes back to his long article last summer talking about being brothers with Ukraine and saying all the Russian leaders since Lenin have made mistakes giving Ukraine a sense of autonomy….
He said democracy in Ukraine is like a WMD to Russia.

Yes, everything will be fine. Trust me!
