The French government says it does not understand the logic of the US president.
The French government said it did not understand the logic of US President Donald Trump when he accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of Russia invading Ukrainian territory and starting a war.
Reuters reports this, citing a statement from French government press secretary Sophie Primas.
“We don’t understand the logic very well,” the agency quotes the press secretary as saying about President Trump’s “incomprehensible comments.”
According to her, over the past few days, the American leader has made a number of statements on Ukraine “without consulting with his European allies.”
