The Russians launched 8 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles from the Bryansk region into Ukraine
On the night of July 14, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 8 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, 5 of which were shot down.

“On the night of July 14, the enemy attacked with 8 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles from the Bryansk region, 2 Kh-59/69 guided aircraft missiles (launch area – airspace of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea) and 135 Shahed attack UAVs (including jet), Gerbera, Italmas, “Banderol” loitering munitions and “Parody” type simulator drones from the directions: Orel, Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – the Russian Federation, temporarily occupied Donetsk, Gvardiyske – occupied Crimea,” the message said.
As of 09:00, air defenses shot down/suppressed 5 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, 2 Kh-59/69 guided aircraft missiles, and 108 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas UAVs and drones of other types in the north, south, east, and center of the country.
At the same time, a ballistic missile and 25 strike UAVs were recorded at 17 locations, as well as falling debris at 10 locations. Information on two ballistic missiles is being clarified.

As UNIAN reported, on July 6, the advisor to the Minister of Defense, a specialist in the field of radio technologies, Sergey (Flash) Beskrestnov, admitted that there is nothing to shoot down Russian ballistic missiles. At the same time, he said that Ukraine has already contracted many missiles for the Patriot systems for the future.
In addition, Yuriy Ignat, head of the communications department of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that the effectiveness of air defense in shooting down Russian cruise missiles remains high, but the result depends on the specifics of a particular attack – the number of targets, directions of approach, and types of weapons.
