The SBU conducted a successful operation at the Kirovske military airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea. Fires were recorded there.

And as of the evening of June 28, their area had increased. This was reported by Channel 24 with reference to ” Crimean Wind “.

The fire spread to the center of the airfield.

A satellite image of the Kirovskoe airfield, taken at approximately 2 p.m., was posted online.

It is noticeable that the area of ​​fires at the affected airport has significantly increased.

Let us recall that at the Kirovskoe airfield, the Russians lost 3 Mi-8, Mi-26 and Mi-28 helicopters and a Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile system.

Fire damage was inflicted on the locations of the aviation component, air defense systems, ammunition storage depots, as well as reconnaissance and strike UAVs of the enemy,
the SBU said.

The airport is located near the village of the same name in occupied Crimea.
