A fire continues to burn at the NZNP oil terminal in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, following an overnight attack on Oct. 10, Russian media outlet Astra reported.
The facility is owned by Novoshakhtinsk Oil Products Plant JSC and specializes in the storage and transshipment of petroleum products.
The terminal has an annual capacity of 2.5 million to 3.5 million metric tons. It is used to store and ship petroleum products from the plant and other suppliers, including for export aboard river-sea vessels.
The terminal also supplies fuel to Russian military units.
Earlier reports said the facility was attacked overnight on Oct. 10, triggering a fire. Rostov Oblast Gov. Yuri Slyusar reported six people injured but did not provide details about the fire at the terminal itself.

In addition, Ukrainian forces struck the Samara oil pumping station near the village of Prosvet in Russia’s Samara Oblast for the second time overnight on Oct. 10, according to Ukraine’s General Staff.
The destruction of four RVS-50000 storage tanks and a massive fire at the Samara oil storage terminal following an Oct. 7 strike have also been confirmed.
On Oct. 10, a senior Ukrainian official told the Financial Times that Ukraine would continue striking Russian oil refineries despite an agreement between U.S. President Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin on Russian diesel supplies.
