The Ukrainian Defense Forces have launched another drone strike on the Tsymbulovo drone port in Russia’s Oryol region. The attack hit several infrastructure facilities.
The point of impact is related to the deployment and launch of the UAV. The consequences of the strike were reported by the Telegram channel Exilenova+ .
Among the affected facilities are several bunkers, one drone launch pad, and a UAV storage area.

Also, at the linear production and dispatching station “Samara” in Russia , eight oil tanks caught fire after the damage, and the area of the fire exceeded 15 thousand sq. meters. Also damaged were sections of pipelines and a pumping station, and the fire itself at the facility as of the evening of October 2 was still ongoing.
OBOZ.UA previously reported that in Russia, amid a gasoline shortage that intensified after Ukrainian attacks on oil refineries, demand for electric vehicles has increased sharply. In January-August 2026, the country sold more than 83,000 electric cars and hybrids, compared to 43,000 in the same period last year.
