In Engels, Saratov Oblast, Russia, people complained about a drone attack. Russians wrote on social media about numerous explosions.
After them, a fire broke out at a local oil depot. This was reported by the Telegram channel Exilenova+ and the Russian independent publication ASTRA.
What is known
The fact that the night in the Saratov region would be noisy became obvious after the announcement of a “dangerous UAV” in the region around midnight Kyiv time, as well as the introduction of the so-called “Carpet plan” at the Saratov airport.

Almost an hour and a half later, regional governor Roman Busargin confirmed the “threat.”
“Information about the UAV threat has been received from the Ministry of Defense. Locally, warning systems can operate in places of possible threat. All emergency services are on full alert,” he wrote.

Russians began to complain about the explosions on social media. While local publics wrote about “more than five” explosions, commentators corrected this figure, claiming that they heard 15, 20, or more.

It also became known from posts by local residents on social media that a fire broke out in Engels during the attack.
“Engels, Saratov region, locals report that an oil depot is on fire, before that local authorities wrote about the danger of drones,” summarized the Russians’ messages on the Exilenova+ Telegram channel.
Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the “destruction” overnight of “77 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles.” 42 of them were allegedly shot down over the Saratov region.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA reported that satellite photos of the consequences of strikes on an oil depot in the Oryol region had emerged. They confirmed the destruction of at least two fuel tanks.
It also became known that the Russians dropped their own aerial bomb on Belgorod and caused a blackout.

Nice! Keep mafia land burning!
