One of the EU states received a response from the messenger administration to a request regarding a group in the messenger in which many murders were discussed, the journalists learned.

While in custody in France, Russian-born billionaire Pavlo Durov , the founder of the Telegram messenger , promised to cooperate with French justice and ensure the fulfillment of his demands, as far as the human resources of the platform allow.
This information was learned by Le Figaro. According to Liberation , Telegram has already started cooperating with French law enforcement officers. The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine called such a change in the policy of the messenger administration a failure of Russian intelligence.
Liberation has discovered that Telegram has in fact responded to requests from the Office for Minors (OFMIN) of the National Police and the Gendarmerie during several criminal investigations, providing elements that could identify certain suspects. According to journalists, in particular, it is about crimes against children.
“The door is really opening,” said Joanne Bruss, head of the J3 (JUNALCO) department at the Paris prosecutor’s office, which deals with cybercrime.
According to journalists, one of the EU countries has already received a response to a request regarding a messenger group in which about 100 contract killings were discussed. In addition, South Korea is allegedly awaiting a response to a request sent by Telegram.
The start of Telegram’s cooperation with law enforcement officers is a failure of the Russian intelligence service, according to Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Combating Disinformation (working body of the NSDC).
“After the arrest of Pavel Durov in Paris, Telegram began to cooperate with law enforcement agencies not only of France, but also of other countries. Everything, as he said in the first days. Everything is very bad for Russian intelligence. This is a failure,” he believes.
Interesting world news is the focus of Telegram
On August 24, French special services detained Pavel Durov at Le Bourget airport (located near Paris). Then there was information that the founder of Telegram was detained because the platform refused to cooperate with law enforcement officers to solve, in particular, cybercrimes.
On the 28th, the investigating judge decided that the businessman may not be detained . Durov was placed under judicial supervision and cannot leave France.
