Explosions were heard that night in Rostov-on-Don and a number of districts of the region. According to the governor of the region, Yuriy Slyusary, the Aksai, Bagayev, and Nekliniv districts of the region were also attacked.
“Information about the victims and the consequences on the ground as a result of the fall of UAV debris is being clarified. The drone and missile danger in the Rostov region remains,” he wrote at 04:13.
At that time, a massive fire was already raging in Rostov: according to Exilenova+, a warehouse belonging to DNS, one of the largest sellers of consumer and digital appliances in the Russian Federation, caught fire. Not far from it is a logistics facility of the Russian marketplace Ozon, which initially caused some confusion with the identification of the affected facility.
The Russians filmed a lot of footage of the spectacular fire at the arrival site. Some videos show at least two fire centers in Rostov-on-Don.
