Everyone can do something to stop russia

Researchers from Yale University have identified and tracked 314 Ukrainian children from the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts who were abducted by russia.

The deported children were placed in at least 21 regions of russia, where they were subjected to “pro-state and militaristic propaganda.” Around 166 children have already been placed in russian families.

Russian military transport planes were used to carry out the abductions. At least two groups of children were flown on planes operated by the russian Presidential Administration in May and October 2022.

The report states that the program of forcibly adopting Ukrainian children is directly overseen by russian President Putin and the Commissioner for Children’s Rights, Maria Lvova-Belova, both of whom are under arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court.

The photo illustrates the regions of Russia where the abducted Ukrainian children were relocated and adopted.

This is so horrible that people in the West don’t want to think about this. To accept that this moral universe exists. Because if it exists then you have to choose to do something about it (presuming you are essentially a good person, which most people are) and that is complicated and overwhelming and what can you do anyway? But everyone can do something to stop Russia. There are no small deeds, just small children kidnapped by Russia and with nobody to defend them except for good people who can draw attention to their plight, not forget about them, find them, help Ukraine not lose more territory and children.

…………….

American politics has really degraded in the past two decades.

Yesterday, Joe Biden has pardoned his son Hunter Biden. Why is this the problem?

  1. It shows that American top politicians simply cannot be trusted. Earlier Biden specifically made a promise that he would not pardon his son. Well, apparently Biden lied.
  2. It shows double standards. Democrats have constantly attacked Donald Trump for pardoning his father-in-law, Charles Kushner, who was convicted of tax evasion, witness tampering, and lying to investigators. Don’t get me wrong, Trump’s actions were wrong! But Biden has been portrayed as a man of “integrity.” Turns out he is just as hypocritical.

Both parties need a total and complete reboot.

…………………

According to the recent reports, the United States, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Belgium, Slovenia, and Spain oppose inviting Ukraine to NATO.

………………

Many people bought into the russian propaganda blaming NATO for the russian invasion of Ukraine. The reality is much simpler russia is what it always has been.

  1. To see what a morally bankrupt world we live in, consider the words of Dr Jade McGlynn, who incidentally lives in Kharkiv:

“This is so horrible that people in the West don’t want to think about this. To accept that this moral universe exists. Because if it exists then you have to choose to do something about it…..”

That is what world leaders are doing. They are either ostriches or rats feeding from putler’s trough, which is polluted with shit.

  2. We have morality and a sense of justice only in fantasy land. In the real world, we have mostly greed, injustice, murder, rape, plundering, and suppression. We have states who do these things all the time, like mafia land, china, north korea, much of the African continent, et al., and we have states who close their eyes for profit and convenience. We know who the hypocrites are. Even the US has voted for a man who is basically a crook and a pathological liar, willing to lick the ass of a vicious dictator, showing that we, along with every other people on earth, have learned absolutely nothing from the bitter and bloody lessons of the 1930s and 40s. We are damned to repeat the same mistakes … like in the film Groundhog Day … and laugh over it, if it weren’t so damned serious and pathetic.
