Europe should focus on Russia’s war against Ukraine, not Greenland. US President Donald Trump stated this in an interview with NBC News .

“Europe should focus on the war between Russia and Ukraine, because frankly, you see where it’s led them. That’s what Europe needs to focus on, not Greenland,” he said.

Trump also criticized European leaders who oppose Greenland becoming part of the United States. He reiterated that the United States needs the island for national security purposes.

Furthermore, the US president threatened to impose tariffs on European countries if Washington failed to reach a deal to purchase Greenland. He declined to answer the reporter’s question about whether the US might use force to seize the island.

Greenland borders Canada, not Nazi America. Europe needs to be able to both understand the urgency of putting forces in the air and on the ground in Ukraine as well as collectively ensuring the safety and sovereignty of Greenland.
