The European Union will increase military assistance to Ukraine by another 500 million euros .
This was announced by the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, on Twitter .
He noted that the European Union, at the suggestion of EU diplomat Josep Borrell, plans to replenish the European Peace Fund by another 500 million euros.
“After rapid approval, this will increase EU military assistance to Ukraine to 1.5 billion euros,” Michel added.
