Enterprises of the “Etalon” corporation in Chernihiv region, which suffered during the hostilities, have already returned to work and announced new models of buses.

It is reported that 50-70% of the corporation’s plants in Chernihiv region were damaged. The occupiers fired 250 artillery shells and 3 rockets at them. Buildings, buildings and a laboratory were destroyed. In fact, the electroplating shop was lost. All buildings of the plant were damaged, there was no electricity, water and gas supply. The total amount of damages was estimated at 30 million dollars.

In April, the company began to restore, and during the fall and summer, debris was removed and equipment was repaired. And already in December, it was possible to restore the work process. They have not yet been able to restore the walls and roof everywhere, but 500 people have already returned to work.

There is also good news regarding developments from Etalon. Thus, the research institute of automobile construction, which is part of the corporation, has developed promising models of buses.

The first novelty is the city bus A08621 with a length of 9.3 m and 72 seats. At the rear is an Ashok Leyland 123 kW engine.

Next comes the tourist model A11123 with 44 seats, 10.7 m long and 6.5 cubic m luggage compartment. The long-distance model A08317-31 is also planned for transportation of persons with limited mobility.

Also in 2023, “Etalon” plans to introduce its first electric bus A08611 with a length of 9 meters and a range of 200 km. The model is designed for city transportation and has a capacity of 54 passengers.

The restyling of the front mask of buses of the A081 series from the Chernihiv Automobile Plant was also shown.

The launch of these developments into production is expected in 2023 in Chernihiv Oblast. It is claimed that the company is not even considering relocation options.

Company managers claim that all they need are orders from the state and foreign partners. And “Etalon” will handle the rest by itself.
